ENDOMETRIOSIS

Pelvic Physiotherapy and Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that affects many people and can have a significant impact on quality of life. It occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain, inflammation, and sometimes fertility difficulties.

At Pelvic Health Clinic, we understand that every person’s experience with endometriosis is unique. Our team provides holistic, evidence-based care, including pelvic health physiotherapy, to support pain management, improve function, and enhance overall wellbeing. We take a whole-person approach—addressing pelvic health, movement, and lifestyle factors—so you can feel more informed, supported, and in control of your symptoms.

WOMENS HEALTH

Pelvic Floor & Abdominal Weakness

Pelvic floor muscles are the “hidden” internal muscles that support the bladder and bowel in men, and the bladder, bowel and uterus in women.

If the pelvic floor muscles are not functioning optimally this may result in problems such as incontinence, difficulty emptying the bladder or bowel, pelvic organ prolapse in women, or sexual and/or pelvic pain in both men and women.
